Synopsis
When a man and woman arrive at a cabin, they are obducated by criminals. The man is then infused with some bunny substance causing him to form into a killer bunny obsessed with female genitals. When a group of friends travel to the same cabin, they are slowly hunted by the killer bunny who is swinging his male part constantly. As a result, the group must try to survive the killer bunny.
Gore Factor
This films shows quite a bit of genitals and is not shy about it. The killer bunny uses his long “male part” to kill his victims. When the bunny does so, there is an ample amount of blood that oozes out of his victims. Overall, there is quite a bit of gore but in this case, the excessive sexuality makes the gore distasteful.
The Grave Review
The plot of Bunny The Killer Thing (2015) is not very logical as there are many loopholes. The film fails to present any clarification or understanding why criminals are infusing people with some rabbit fluid and why they are turning into sex crazed bunnies. In addition, the film does not take the time to develop any of the characters or the story line. It was clear that this film relied mainly on shock value through sexuality and gore.
Although gore and sexuality are not uncommon elements in a horror film, this film takes these elements too far. It is difficult to say whether the film is a comedy or a bad soft-core porn film. Regardless, there were many distasteful scenes in this film. Many of the scenes feel as if they are only meant for shock value, but the film does a good job at presenting grotesque imagery rather than any shock value as every other scene showed a males body part.
For the foregoing reasons, Grave Reviews gives Bunny The Killer Thing (2015), zero graves out of five graves.
