Hellraiser (1987) follows the story of Kirsty who steals the puzzle and solves it, summoning the cenobites who deem themselves as explorers from another dimension seeking experiences but who can no longer see the difference between pain and pleasure. In essence, we find out that the puzzle box is people’s desire to experience a pleasure that they believe there getting. In addition, by summoning Pinhead unleashes a torturous and painful experience ultimately leading to the summoner’s death by stretching their skin with chains. Pinhead and his crew called the Cenobites are also disfigured and gruesome making for truly scary Villains. This scary and chilling horror flick makes for a fun night.
