Period and Deadline: Applicants may submit their video beginning 7:00 am Eastern Time (US) on November 1, 2021. Each contestant will have until November 23, 2021, to submit their SFX video to Grave Reviews. The videos will be uploaded to YouTube on December 1, 2021. The number of “Likes” will be counted from December 1, 2021 – December 15, 2021at 12:01 am.

What to Submit: Submit a 2-3 minute video of your SFX Makeup Work showing your design from start to finish. Time Lapse the video in order to meet the time requirements. Select one of three songs from the zip link and incorporate the song into your video. Makeup should be applied on yourself and not a model.
Theme of Competition: Christmas Terror! Some ideas may be evil elves, Krampus, evil Christmas Ornament or anything else related. The theme is Christmas with a Scare element to it.
Eligibility to Compete: You must be 18 years or older of age to enter. You must also possess a PayPal account.
How do I win: The YouTube video with the most “Likes” as of December 15, 2021 wins! The applicants with the second and third most “liked” videos as of December 15, 2021 will also receive prizes.
How do I get paid: You must submit a PayPal Account on the Submission Page. All prize money is paid in US Currency and subject to PayPal fees and currency rates. Payment will be provided 24-72 hours after the end of announcing the winners.
What are the Prizes:
- 1st Prize: $500
- 2nd Prize: $300
- 3rd Prize: $200
**PERMITTED MUSIC***: Selected from three songs for you to use. The link contains a zip file with the songs. Choose one of the three songs to use for your video.
What kind of SFX Makeup can I Submit:
- SFX Makeup from shoulders up!
- Makeup should be applied in the video on yourself and not a model.
- No Sexual themes or Excessive Gore allowed.
- Excessive Gore includes but is not limited to Accident scenes or protruding bones or organs.
- Body paint applicants will not be accepted
- Costumes and Christmas backgrounds are welcomed.
