A Quiet Place Part II (May 28, 2021)
A Quiet Place, written by John Krasinski and starring himself and his real-life wife, Emily Blunt, received critical acclaim for its riveting story, unique character dynamics, and an emphasis on family and sacrifice.
A Quiet Place Part II, still spearheaded by Krasinski and Blunt, looks to flesh out the plot and the world the characters live in even more.
The trailer does not show much, but if the sequel is anything like the end of the first entry, then gear up for some gut-wrenching action sequences as the Abott family have figured out the big weakness of these noise-sensitive monstrosities.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (June 4, 2021)
Demonic entities and real-life cases are brought to the big screen as Ed and Lorraine Warren come to the rescue as yet another family is cursed, leading to murder in broad daylight.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is the third main entry in The Conjuring franchise and the eighth in The Conjuring cinematic universe.
In this film, watch the horrors and mysteries behind the “Devil Made Me Do It” case in 1981 which was a landmark case in US case law deeming “demonic possession” as a valid form of defense.
The Forever Purge (July 9, 2021)
Every year is filled with peace and prosperity except for one night where all hell breaks loose in The Forever Purge but is one night enough?
The latest movie entry of The Purge Franchise, which began in 2013, seeks to explore the dynamics between the rich and powerful and the needy and powerless.
Will laws and morality be upheld or will the purge continue forever?
Don’t Breathe 2 (August 13, 2021)
If the first movie was a harrowing experience, then tune in for the sequel as the terrifying villain from the 2016 film Don’t Breathe makes a return.
There has been no plot-related information released online as of the moment but expect Stephen Lang’s portrayal of “The Blind Man” to be just as intense and action-packed as the first film.
***No official trailer has been released.***
Candyman (August 27, 2021)
If you know of the notorious “Bloody Mary” ritual, then you should definitely be aware of the “Candyman” ritual, as both would entail the arrival of a horrible, vengeful spirit out to murder everyone who chants the name.
Produced by Jordan Peele, who is a renowned comedian, actor, and most notably, director of two recent horror hits: Get Out and Us, expect this film adaptation of an age-old horror story created by Clive Barker to be one of the best movies to come out this year.
