Anyone who is a fan of Silent Hill, was disappointed when the supposed sequel to the series was canceled for the next generation consoles. However, there are quite a number of upcoming Horror Games that are expected to be released this year.
Some of the more notable games, are Visage and Agony. Visage is a psychological horror game that takes place is a 1980s, isolated town in a “cabin in the woods” type house. Within the house, players will learn about the terrible acts that have happened to many people. The visuals of the game seem very crisp and will be sure to give anyone a nice scare. The developers of Visage, SadSquare Studio, have said that they have been inspired by games such as Silent Hill and other horror games.
The last information we have received was that the game was to be released January 2017, however no further information has been released. Visage will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

If you are a fan of Dante’s Inferno, Agony may be the game for you. Developed by MadMind Studios, the game is just that, you are in hell. You start as a soul that has the power to control certain demons to solve various obstacles. You venture your way through hell and in doing so, try to remember your past and how you got there. The premise appears to be fairly clear. This game is expected to be released in March of 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Visually, the game seems very nice.
